The term mass media is an umbrella term for the industries of TV, film, newspapers, magazines, internet, radio and videogames. These industries provide an opportunity for a small group of people to produce a product (such as a TV programme) which is watched by millions. This makes media producers incredibly powerful and influential; this is often the focus of the academic study of media studies at A level and beyond.

What you need to get on

Students require 5 A*-C GCSE passes to enter 6th form. Subject specific criteria will be available at the open evening on November 3rd

How you are assessed

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
