What the college says

An A Level in Maths can be the starting point to a variety of careers and Higher Education courses – from engineering to accounting. As a highly regarded subject it opens doors to career paths including accountancy, economics, teaching, engineering, medicine, mathematics and computing.

What you need to get on

Minimum five GCSEs at grade 5 and above. Minimum of Grade 5 in GCSE English. A minimum of Grade 7 in GCSE Mathematics. You will also be required to show an appropriate knowledge of algebra before being enrolled onto the course.

How you are assessed

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
