This course delivers a wide range of skills which includes analysing problems, clarifying issues and putting them into perspective, research, forming and supporting opinions and communication. In the first year units covered are Tsarist and Communists Russia 1855-1917 and The Making of Modern Britain 1951-1979. The unit covered in the second year Historical Investigation.
What you need to get on
Requirements are at least a GCSE grade 6 in History and minimum of a GCSE grade 5 in English Language.
How you are assessed
Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
