You will develop the four key language skills, listening, speaking, reading and writing using a wide variety of sources including radio, television, newspaper and foreign language websites. As well as developing your language skills, you will learn all about the culture of the countries where German is spoken.

What you need to get on

Entry requirements are a Grade 7,8,9 with consideration of 6 in extreme circumstances at GCSE in German. Applicants may be considered on an individual basis and may be advised that they are not suitable.

How you are assessed

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
