Geography A Level is a relevant and engaging course which balances physical and human geography. The course aims to build on the geographical knowledge and skills acquired at GCSE and in doing so stimulate an interest of real world issues.

What you need to get on

Minimum grade 6 in GCSE Geography. A minimum grade 6 in a science, History, Latin, a Modern Foreign Language, Music, English Literature or Religious Studies may be acceptable when GCSE Geography has not been taken. General qualification requirements must also be met: GCSE English and Maths at grades 4-9; minimum three GCSEs at grades 6-9, and a further three GCSEs at grades 5-9. Native modern foreign languages are not normally counted. GCSE subject grades may only be counted once.

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
