Course availability is dependent on a minimum number of students applying.Students will on completion be able to read and comprehend mathematical arguments and articles concerning applications of mathematics, acquire the skills needed to use technology such as calculators and computers effectively,recognise when such use may be inappropriate and be aware of limitations, develop an awareness of the relevance of mathematics to other fields of study, to the world of work and to society in general.

What you need to get on

For applicants who wish to study 3 A levels and an Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) they will require an Attainment 8 Score of 60pts to include at least a Grade 5 in Mathematics and English Language. A minimum of a Grade 6 is required in the subject to be studied at A level. For applicants who wish to study 4 A levels they will require an Attainment 8 Score of 68pts to include at least a Grade 5 in Mathematics and English Language. A minimum of a Grade 6 is required in the subject to be studied at A level.
