An increasing number of students are choosing to take Further Maths and an increasing number of institutions look favourably on students who have followed this subject to A Level. It adds both breadth and depth to the study of Maths and introduces topics such as complex numbers and linear programming that are important parts of university study in many subjects. The course is taught by a dedicated team of subject specialist and, unlike some schools, Further Maths is allocated the same number of lessons as all other A Levels.

What you need to get on

Standard Entry Requirements including GCSE Grade 8 or above in Maths. You must also study A Level Maths.

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
