A 2 year course, AS Level is taken at the end of Year 1 and the A Level sat at then of the two year course, it must be taken alongside A Level Mathematics. Course Outline Further Mathematics includes pure mathematics, mechanics and statistics. In particular, students learn the essential pure mathematical methods that can be applied to real world scenarios. Units studied include: 3 units cover the solving of equations, graphs and transformations, coordinate geometry, logarithms and exponentials, sequences and series, trigonometry and the formation of differentiation and integration.
