If you have a keen interest in the sustainability of our planet you will find this A Level engaging and thought provoking. With topics that include the biophysical environment, energy resources, pollution and sustainability there is plenty to explore and research. Environmental science is a holistic subject covering many interconnected systems and processes and delves into how humans and the natural world are intrinsically linked together. A deeper understanding of evidence-based information and quantitative data is also developed through a range of practical activities.

What you need to get on

You will need five GCSEs at grades 9 - 4 (A* - C). Geography GCSE is an advantage but students who have not studied this may be considered. GCSE Maths and English at Grade 5 or above are needed to study this course.

How you are assessed

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
