In studying Environmental Science A level, you will explore the key challenges facing our planet, learning how the environment supports us; how we threaten these support systems and how we can embrace technologies and strategies that deliver a more sustainable lifestyle. Studying wildlife conservation, resource management, energy use, pollution and food production, you will develop an in-depth understanding of the problems the planet faces and the solutions.

What you need to get on

To study at MV16 you must have achieved a minimum of grade 4+ in GCSE English and Maths, plus 3 grade 5's in other subject areas and to include a GCSE grade 5 in Geography or Science

How you are assessed

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
