A level English Literature is a course for those students who enjoy reading and interrogating texts. The course encourages students to develop a wide range of skills, such as the ability to read critically, analyse, evaluate and undertake independent research which are valuable for both further study and future employment. Wider reading is an essential element of the syllabus and requires a great deal of work so it requires conscientious study.
