This course will allow you to further develop analytical and creative writing skills from GCSE. The required seminal texts engage with many themes still relevant today, such as love, social class and prejudice; while the wider reading supports knowledge of context and criticism. The coursework allows for more independent reading and will be the basis for creative coursework. If you enjoy English and creativity is important to you, you will thrive in this course.
