The 2 year course consists of four components that cover a range of assessment objectives that are assessed at the end of year 13. The literature covers a range of texts from Pre and post 1900 poetry (30% of qualification) exam, Shakespeare and drama- pre and post 1900 (30% of qualification) exam, Unseen prose and unseen poetry (20% of the qualification) exam, Non exam assessment comparing pre and post 2000 literature ( 20% of qualification) coursework.
What you need to get on
5 9-4 GCSE. Including English and Maths at a grade 4 or above.
How you are assessed
Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
