Aimed at School Leavers. Economics looks at an important target in all our lives how to get resources (or money!) and how to use them (or spend it!). It examines this question from the point of view of individuals who get money mostly from working or from benefits, and from the view of society where the government taxes us and spends the money on our behalf. You will look at many issues that will affect you in your life, economics is all around you.

What you need to get on

To study an A Level programme you will need to achieve a minimum of three grade 5s and two grade 4s at GCSE including English Language and Maths at grade 5. Each individual subject carries its own entry criteria and some subjects do require higher grades than this.
