WHY STUDY PRODUCT DESIGN? Product Design allows you to put theory into practice by designing and making prototypes that solve real world problems. It also develops intellectual curiosity about the design and manufacture of products and systems, and their impact on daily life within this modern world. Students will develop an in-depth knowledge and understanding of materials, components and processes, including how a product can be developed through the stages of prototyping, realisation and commercial manufacture.
