If you have a passion for performance and are keen to develop your skills as an actor, director and designer then this is the course for you. Through this course you will have the opportunity to explore a range of different theatrical styles and learn how to apply the features of key practitioners to your own work. We aim to foster a life-long enthusiasm for the theatre, developing your ability to interpret both classical and contemporary texts and critically analyse the total dramatic effectiveness of a performance
What you need to get on
It is useful to have taken Drama at GCSE but not essential and students must have achieved a Level 4 in English at GCSE. It is important that students are interested in gaining a greater understanding of how performance theories work in practice and that they are keen to be involved with performances. Students need to be curious about issues and ideas and have a creative instinct for communicating views through Drama.

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
