This Level 3 qualification fulfils the purposes defined by the Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation (Ofqual). We study the civilisation, history, culture and mythology of ancient Greece and Rome. On this course we cover a fascinating range of sources from the great epics of Virgil and Homer to the tragic plays of Euripides, Sophocles and the comedies of Aristophanes or the wonderful sculptures of such artists as Polykleitos and Praxiteles. To complete our studies we will study Classical views on love and relationships.
