Are you inspired by the ancient cultures of Greece and Rome? If so, you will be right at home studying A Level Classical Civilisation.As a student you will explore different aspects of ancient Greek and Roman history and literature. From Greek historical texts that include myths and epic journeys, plays that incorporate the heights of tragedy and the satirical lows of comedy in Year One, to the history and politics of the Roman Republic and the introduction of the first Roman Emperor in Year Two.

What you need to get on

Five GCSEs at grade 4 and above with a minimum average GCSE score of 4.0, including:· English Literature grade 5· At least one other grade 5 in a relevant subject

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
