“Business Studies has enabled me to look at all the different aspects of a business and opened me up to new ideas for when I finish my A Levels” This course encourages candidates to develop a critical understanding of business organisations, the context in which they operate, the markets they serve and the process of adding value through a problem solving approach to study. Across 2 years candidates will study 4 themes based around marketing, people management, global business and business strategy. As we have now moved to linear teaching candidates will sit 3 exams at the end of year 13.

What you need to get on

5 GCSE grades 4 or above including Grade 4 or above in GCSE Business or Maths and English at Grade 4.

How you are assessed

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
