Business Studies offers pupils the opportunity to explore the world of work before entering into it fully. The course equips pupils with an understanding of how to start a business, how larger business operate, and what decisions business make and why.

What you need to get on

Minimum Grade 6 in either GCSE Geography, History, Latin, a Modern Foreign Language, Music, English Literature or Religious Studies. A Grade 6 in a science may be acceptable as an alternative. General qualification requirements must also be met: GCSE English and Maths at grades 4-9; minimum three GCSEs at grades 6-9, and a further three GCSEs at grades 5-9. Native modern foreign languages are not normally counted. GCSE subject grades may only be counted once.

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
