The Business department consists of specialist Business teachers who plan and deliver lessons in a number of dedicated ICT suites, each containing up-to-date equipment including PCs, scanners, laser printers and interactive whiteboards. The department also has an extensive library of software ranging from word processing, spreadsheet, presentation and database applications to audio visual, animation and desk top processing. This allows students a wide range of choice in how to produce work in order to satisfy learning outcomes

What you need to get on

This course is open to students who have achieved a grade 6 in GCSE Business along with a grade 4 in both English (Language or Literature) and Mathematics. In addition, a total of 360 points from your best 8 GCSEs is also required, details of which can be found on the school website.

How you are assessed

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
