The A Level Biology course has been designed to engage and inspire pupils by showing how an understanding of many contemporary issues requires a grasp of fundamental biological ideas.

What you need to get on

Minimum Grade 7 in GCSE Biology or Grades 8-8 in Double Science and Grade 6 in GCSE Mathematics. General qualification requirements must also be met: GCSE English and Maths at grades 4-9; minimum three GCSEs at grades 6-9, and a further three GCSEs at grades 5-9. Native modern foreign languages are not normally counted. GCSE subject grades may only be counted once.

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
