Biology is a facilitating A Level subject and is highly regarded by universities. Biologists are scientists who study the natural world and all the living things in it, from the largest mammals down to our very own microscopic DNA. They try to understand how animals and organisms work (including us humans), how we evolved, and the things that can make us sick or improve our health. As with the other sciences, biology helps you to build research, problem solving, organisation and analytical skills. You will have the opportunity to work both independently and as part of a team, which will help you build your interpersonal and communication skills.?

GCSE 6 in English & mathematics GCSE ? 6 in biology, 6 in chemistry and 6 in physics OR 6-6 in Trilogy

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
