At A Level: Unit 1 (9BI0/01): Advanced Biochemistry, Microbiology and Genetics Unit 2 (9BI0/02): Advanced Physiology, Evolution and Ecology Unit 3 (9BI0/03): General and Practical Principles in Biology The teaching of the course is enhanced by a one-day field trip at A2 which will enable students to use specialist equipment to further their understanding of field work techniques. This is an integral part of the course and students are expected to attend. The course includes practical skills and a minimum of 10% of the examinations will access higher level mathematics.
