If you’re creative, want to improve your artistic practice and enhance your technique, expand your horizons in different artistic forms, this course is for you. The course is a very hands-on practical course where you will choose whether to specialize in Fine Art, Three Dimensional Design or Photography. The course provides learners with opportunities to develop a broad foundation of critical, practical and theoretical skills that offers learners a holistic understanding of a range of practices and contexts in the visual arts, crafts and design fields.
What you need to get on
Students must achieve Grade 6 or above in GCSE Art and Design. If you have not previously studied Art and Design GCSE, you will need to show a portfolio to the subject lead to be considered for the course.
How you are assessed
Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
