What the college says
Develop your technical and creative art skills, as well as learn more about the history of art. By researching the work of historical and contemporary artists, you will gain a firm theoretical basis upon which to build your own practice. Over the space of two years, you will develop a range of skills and refine areas of specific interest, consider and appreciate tone, colour, form, rhythm, scale, space and texture.
What you need to get on
This 2 year course requires either a GCSE in Art & Design at grade 4 or a Level 2 Art BTEC at merit or a demonstrable interest in and experience of the subject, plus the standard entry requirements of an A Level or mixed programme
How you are assessed
Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
