Art and Design builds upon the knowledge and skills acquired at GCSE level, providing ample opportunities for pupils to explore areas of personal interest, experiment wit ha range of methods and approaches and to develop their own artistic style.

What you need to get on

Minimum grade 6 in GCSE Art. General qualification requirements must also be met: GCSE English and Maths at grades 4-9; minimum three GCSEs at grades 6-9, and a further three GCSEs at grades 5-9. Native modern foreign languages are not normally counted. GCSE subject grades may only be counted once.

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
