What the college says
This evening course has been designed for electricians, contractors, and those requiring a working knowledge of the latest edition of the level 3 award in the Requirements for Electrical Installations BS 7671:2018 qualification. This course is delivered either online or in a classroom over three days and provides in-depth training on the 18th edition of the IET Wiring Regulations and will include a final two-hour examination on the full content of the regulations. This is a full-cost course. There is no fee remission available and you cannot apply for an advanced learner loan to pay for your fees.
What you need to get on
Be able to understand and use the current IET regulations BS7671:2018 and have use of a copy of BS7671:2018.
How you are assessed
Learning a trade with tools and equipment, often in a college workshop or salon.
