This qualification ensures that you are up to date with the latest industry regulation on wiring and the safe use and operation of electrical equipment and systems. It covers the 18th edition of the IET Wiring Regulations, which came into force in June 2018. These regulations are recognised by the British Standards Institute as a British Standard (BS7671). 2382-22 Level 3 Award in the Requirements for Electrical Installations (BS 7671:2018 + A2:2022) is designed for people who work in or need to ensure their work complies with current wiring regulations. Including those working in commercial, industrial, and domestic environments, electrical industry and need to understand and apply the current Wiring Regulations.

What you need to get on

Applicants should normally hold a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Electrical installation. If you have the Level 2 in Electrical Installation, then you will need an additional minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in the industry. This course is not suitable for complete beginners.
