What the college says
This course is perfect if you have a passion for sport, fitness, health and physical activity and would like to develop the knowledge and skills needed to work within the sport leisure industry. You will learn to build confidence, teamwork and communication skills.
What you need to get on
You will need 4 GCSEs at grades 9-3 including English Language and maths, one of English Language or Maths must be grade 9-4. Functional skills can be used as equivalents
How you are assessed
Learning a trade with tools and equipment, often in a college workshop or salon.
What this level means
The GCSE-equivalent step, and the usual route into Level 3.
