This course is designed to give you qualifications and practical skills directly applicable to the sports industry. The main themes of the course are sports coaching, sports leadership, working with children and fitness instructing.
What you need to get on
4/5 GCSEs* (9-4) including English Language and Maths, or Level 2 Functional Skills equivalent or satisfactory results (Merit/Distinction) in a relevant Level 2 qualification, an interview and a satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
How you are assessed
Two-year technical qualification with a 45-day industry placement. Equivalent to three A levels.
What this level means
The GCSE-equivalent step, and the usual route into Level 3.
