If you are looking for a career as a Wood Machinist in the construction industry, then this course will provide you with the industry-standard skills that potential employers desire.You will study and develop your skills using Woodworking Machinery and by the end of the course will be able to demonstrate competence in machining timber components from a plank of wood through to a finished item.

Essential Requirements:----Successful completion of level 1 Carpentry and Joinery--Achieved GCSE or Functional Skills targets--Excellent record of attendance and commitment at school/college--Demonstrate a high degree of enthusiasm and a commitment to succeed and prepare effectively for employment----Desirable Requirements:----An attendance record at college in excess of 90%--A strong commitment to adopt a 'work-ready' approach, taking responsibility for your own development and behaviour--Completed 30 hours or more of work experience within the construction industry--
