What the college says
You will attend theory, portfolio, tutorial and practical sessions and work in a realistic commercial salon environment. You will study advanced techniques to develop and enhance your creative hairdressing skills, including creatively cutting hair and colour correction.
What you need to get on
You will need a minimum of 4 GCSEs grades A*-C including English and Maths. Alternatively you may have a full BTEC Level 2 qualification at merit grade with English and Maths at Level 2 or a full Vocational Diploma with English and Maths at Level 2. An interview and initial assessment, a record of good attendance and punctuality will be required. Students will need to purchase a kit containing all necessary equipment and uniform.
