Want an exciting career in Hairdressing? The course covers many aspects of hairdressing including cutting, colour correction and dressing long hair. Course content: This course is for Level 2 learners wishing to develop their Hairdressing career. The course covers many aspects of advanced Hairdressing, including cutting, colour correction, dressing long hair and advanced perming. You will take part in various competitions in and out of the college which will then open up more job opportunities upon completion. On completion of the programme, you may wish to progress onto employment e.g. working in a salon, cruise ships or spa hotels. We pride ourselves on delivering outstanding lessons to allow you to achieve, succeed and progress into new and exciting destinations. You will participate in enrichment industry week - an opportunity to 'try something new'. Professionals from Dermalogica, Wella and Steiner are invited in to college to demonstrate, train and inspire students. You will take part in external competitions such as World Skills allowing exciting opportunities to compete nationally and internationally. The annual Alternative Image hair and beauty show gives you a chance to work together with students to create a professional innovative production to showcase their skills. Lots of our students participate in community volunteering events.
