What the college says

This programme is designed to provide the practical expertise and underpinning knowledge necessary to gain a Level 3 Qualification in hairdressing. You will develop your artistic flair and creativity enabling you to work in the industry using your individual style and skills. This is a full-time programme that includes completing a 50-Day Industry Placement to refine technical skills and develop employability within a professional salon. Level 3 Hairdressing is the national qualification to enable you to become a fully qualified Stylist in the industry. Your hours of attendance and start date will be confirmed at enrolment.

What you need to get on

You will require successful completion of a relevant Level 2 qualification in hairdressing and a minimum of 5 GCSEs including English and Maths grades 9-4 (formerly A*-C). Alternatively and have achieved a Level 2 Functional Skill in English and Maths. In addition to the qualifications, you will be required to complete and pass a practical trade test
