This course is designed for those who are interested in why some people are more likely to commit or be victims of crime than others, how criminals can be rehabilitated, and the role of the criminal justice system. This one-year introductory course enables you to combine a study of criminology, law and policing providing you with the knowledge and skills you need to enter the criminal justice sector – from policing and investigation to law and government.

What you need to get on

GCSE English Language at grade 5 or higher AND 4 x GCSE's (or equivalent) at grade 9-4 which must include Maths In addition to the entry requirements, all students will be regularly assessed by Darlington College at an early stage in their study programme. This is to ensure that students are enrolled onto courses which suit their abilities.
