This course is ideal if you’d like to improve your English and maths before progressing onto a Level 2 course in a range of work-related (vocational) areas, supporting career pathways for your future. Reinforcing that attendance is paramount, we are committed to helping you stay on track and achieve your goals.
What you need to get on
You’ll need 4 GCSEs at grades 3–1/D–G, including English Language and maths, or a relevant Entry 3 vocational qualification and you will also be asked to sit an initial assessment. The initial assessment must show that you are ready to study English and maths at Level 1. If you results are lower than this, don't worry, we'll find the right course for you. You must be aged 16-18 to apply for this course.

Entry level and Level 1 study, English and maths retakes, and supported programmes.
