The course will train you to work in all areas of the Public Services sector, developing the knowledge and skills necessary for careers in the police, ambulance, military, fire services and local government.You will participate in a wide range of practical work, including opportunities to steward at events, a live training course with the Fire Brigade and fitness assessments run by the Armed Forces. You will also take part in a yearly residential trip.

You will need:Four GCSEs at grade 4 or above, including English Language and Maths (at grade 3 or above).OrAn equivalent Level 2 qualification at Merit (and Functional Skills in English and Maths at Level 2/GCSE English Language at grade 4 or above and Maths at grade 3 or above).All applicants must have an interview and assessment to confirm that the course is suitable for them.
