This course is suitable for the Early Years Workforce which works within the Early Years Foundation Stage, including school settings, childminders and Childrens Centre/FASST staff. The aim of this course is for you to gain an understanding of mental health in young children in the early years (from birth to 5 years old) and the role of the Early Years Practitioner in supporting childrens mental health and wellbeing.

You must be 19+ years as of age by 31 August 2024. There are no formal entry requirements, but you must have a keen interest in the subject, a good level of English and the ability to work independently.
