What the college says

This qualification will provide you with the opportunity to develop an understanding of adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) relevant to your current or future roles and will equip you with a basic understanding of techniques for preventing and addressing ACEs in practice. It is designed for anyone wishing to progress to a wide range of further learning and job roles such as nursery staff, teachers, health/social workers across health and social care, children and young people, nursing, public services and education and training.

What you need to get on

For a funded/part funded course, you must be aged 19+ on 31 August 2024 and UK resident for at least 3 years. You must complete an online induction, which includes online safety, before you begin a course with us.

How you are assessed

Learning a trade with tools and equipment, often in a college workshop or salon.

What this level means

The GCSE-equivalent step, and the usual route into Level 3.
