This Diploma provides an opportunity for those who have an interest in media to explore, develop and test their creativity within a qualification structure which is stimulating and demanding and provides a supportive transition from general to more specialised study. This course will help you develop the skills and competencies demanded by employers in the creative industries. Through your studies you will learn to be a collaborative team player, a confident communicator, creative and innovative, an entrepreneurial problem solver, adaptable in the face of change, develop high-level technical skills both traditionally and digitally and be motivated and self-directed. You will develop an effective working understanding of media production across a diverse range of assignments and creative activities. The qualification will prepare you for a wide range of careers in the creative industries, including employment opportunities in areas such as Film Making/ Lens-based Media, Advertising, Radio, and Events Management.

What you need to get on

It is recommended that you have a minimum of 4 x GCSEs at Grade 4 or above, at least one of which should be in a creative arts subject plus either English or Maths.
