The media industries are now more varied and exciting than ever. This programme will enable you to make full use of all media contexts and possibilities and will unleash your creativity through a broad range of technical tools and resources. Our curriculum is highly practical. You will be able to experiment with different media and will develop the collaborative, communicative, and problem solving skills that you will need to succeed and make your mark in this exciting and varied industry. You will experiment with filmmaking, music video, documentary, advertising and more! You will learn about camera techniques, sound and lighting design, video editing, colour grading, roles and responsibilities in the industry and will be coached on how to best craft your career to suit your interests. A part of the course will deepen awareness of the impact of media messages and you will spend time discussing and analysing elements of culture, and context. You will be encouraged to collaborate and form part of exhibitions and cross centre projects and will be guided to fully understanding the evolution of media and how your future fits within it. The course will help you organise, plan and deliver ambitious projects for varied audiences and contexts.
