The Level 3 Extended Diploma in Performing and Production Arts is designed to provide young people with the knowledge, skills and understanding of the Performing Arts industry to enable them to progress to stage school or university. The qualification explores all elements of performing arts with a focus to musical theatre and a sound understanding of technical theatre and the industry. Students who have enjoyed drama at school, dancing, acting and other types of performance will find this study programme to be ideal. This course is delivered as two qualifications, each a year long. Students who are 18 years old when they start Year 1 will therefore be 19 at the start of Year 2 and may be subject to fees for the Year 2 qualification. All learners will need to successfully complete the Year 1 qualification to be able to progress to the Year 2 qualification.
