This course enables you to get started in visual and creative arts education. It is ideal for those who wish to gain an initial qualification to enable progression onto a Level 3 course in Art & Design, Photography, Graphic Design or Fashion. The course is broad and covers many of the specialist areas of the Art & Design Industry.
What you need to get on
You will need: 4 or more GCSEs at Grade 3 (D) or higher, including a creative-based subject and English Or: A relevant Level 1 qualification and preferably English at grade 3. You will be invited to an interview to help us ensure the course is right for you.

One subject in depth, assessed largely through coursework and projects.

The GCSE-equivalent step, and the usual route into Level 3.
