What the college says

The Level 1 Progression Diploma has been designed to introduce you to a wide range of creative study, in art and design, photography, music technology and textiles. You will develop a broad range of technical skills and learn about the entire creative process, from initial brief or idea to final outcome. The course also explores creative development skills and problem solving, through experimenting with materials and research. At the same time, you will complete functional skills qualifications in maths and English. The course will give you the all-round skills that you need in order to progress to the creative area of your choice.

What you need to get on

Evidence of previous creative work in any of the following: visual art, drawing, painting, design, textile design, photography or music technology at an appropriate level - 3 GCSEs at Grade 1-3

How you are assessed

Entry level and Level 1 study, English and maths retakes, and supported programmes.

A first step that builds towards Level 2.
