UAL Applied General Extended Diploma in Art and Design will allow you to specialise within the practical arts and provides an excellent introduction to a career in the visual arts industry. Practical skills within both two and three dimensions will be explored and you will be encouraged to broaden your understanding of the historical development of art and design and establish a critical appreciation. Visits to galleries and museums are an integral part of the course.
What you need to get on
Students should be aged 16 to 18 years old. College entry to include GCSE Art or Art related subject minimum grade 4. For a level 3 vocational programme, students will be expected to have gained: + 5 GCSE grades at 4 or above, including GCSE English Language
