What the college says
This qualification is designed to support learners who are interested in learning about the travel and tourism industry alongside other fields of study, with a view to progressing to a wide range of higher education courses, not necessarily in travel and tourism-related subjects, or securing an apprenticeship or job in the travel and tourism, hospitality industries. As the Tourism industry makes a significant contribution to the local economy, this course is very relevant to our location.
What you need to get on
A GCSE level 4 in Maths and English. You do not have to have studied Travel and Tourism previously.
How you are assessed
Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.

The A-level-equivalent step, and what universities and employers ask for.
