This qualification develops the knowledge and skills needed when working in a senior role with adults in health and social care environments. It covers a wide range of areas including supporting individuals with their physical and emotional care, daily living needs and health care procedures. It is also a must-have for all those undertaking the Level 3 Health and Social Care Apprenticeship All those who wish to work or are working in an unsupervised role with adults in health and social care environments. You should be at least 16 years old. We do not set any other entry requirements but colleges or training providers may have their own guidelines. How many credits are required to complete it? The Diploma requires 58 credits. It will be assessed by your tutor or assessor using a range of methods. This could include direct observation in the workplace, a portfolio of evidence, written assignments or a task. There are no specific entry requirements however learners should have a minimum of level two in literacy and numeracy or equivalent. The qualification is suitable for learners of 16 years of age and above.
