This qualification is designed for learners who want to develop an understanding of how to deliver effective customer service in health and social care settings. �Customers� in this context refers to internal and external customers including people who use services their supporters visitors health professionals and providers of other services.
What you need to get on
You must be at least 19 years old. You must have lived within England for a minimum of three years and/or have residency status. The course is free but there is a charge of �120 if you do not complete your work on time or if you withdraw.
How you are assessed
Learning a trade with tools and equipment, often in a college workshop or salon.
What this level means
The GCSE-equivalent step, and the usual route into Level 3.
