This course will enable learners to develop an understanding of allergies allergens and intolerances and how these are diagnosed and treated. They will also learn about the different types of food labels and how to keep individuals with allergies safe. Dependent on the learner�s preference the course also includes modules for those working in the health and social care sector people who work with children and individuals who work in the service sector.

What you need to get on

A willingness to develop your knowledge and understanding of allergies causes of allergies and how to deal with a reaction.

How you are assessed

Entry level and Level 1 study, English and maths retakes, and supported programmes.

What this level means

The GCSE-equivalent step, and the usual route into Level 3.
